Trouble Saving Your Money?
Do you have trouble saving? Well I sure do. I keep telling myself to save money, because I know it will help me out in the future. But somehow I always end up buying things I don't really need. Lately I've been thinking though, that if I cut out the nonessentials, I'll be able to save more.
For instance, the one thing I spend money on most is food. I should eat at home instead of eating at McDonalds every day. It would help me save and it would be healthier for me too. Or if I didn't want to eat at home I could try somewhere a little bit less expensive. I can eat at Taco Bell for way less than McDonalds. And I never really think about water being free. I should just drink water instead of ordering a Dr. Pepper.
Shopping is my never ending expense. I need to start shopping at lower priced stores. Shopping at a store where a shirt will cost $15 instead of $30 will really help out in the long run. Sure, it may not have a tiny logo in the corner that nobody can see, but the shirt will still be just as cute. I could also look for sales if it was something I really needed. Two shirts for the price of one saves you double the money!
One very big problem I have is sales. Even though I don’t really need it I buy something just because it’s on sale and I think I’m getting a good deal. If I could just resist the urge to buy all of the unnecessary things that they put at the check-out counter, I could save so much.
Shout back if you have any ideas on how I could cut out my unnecessary spending.
