Last Minute Savings For Prom

Prom is just weeks away. Can you believe it?!?!

Its senior year and the memories you’re making will last forever. But as everyone does these days I’m sure you’ve got money on your mind. With times the way they are and the economy crushing every family’s budget you might be on your own for prom this year. You know you’re parents, grandparents and other family members would love to help make this your special night, but it’s just not in the cards right now.

Don’t panic, freak out or give up hope!! You’ve still got time to save up a few $$ before the big night. Be conscious of what you’re spending and start putting away a few dollars here and there.. Stop eating out all the time, give up your daily Starbucks here and there, or wait for that new shirt until prom is here and gone to save a few bucks.

It’s not too late to make a few bucks either. Break out that lawnmower and ask your neighbors if you can mow their yard for a few bucks. Or ask around to see if anyone needs help spring cleaning to earn some extra dough. Who knows you just might get lucky if you look around and find a part time job – you’ll need it this summer anyway so stick with it!

No matter how much or little you have to spend you’re going to make prom night exciting, fun and memorable. It’s not how much you spend but how much you smile that makes it so special. Start scraping together your pennies and go with the flow.
