Keeping Warm Tips for Winter

Winter is here and temperatures are dropping very rapidly. And since we live in Texas, we aren’t that used to extremely cold weather. But get ready because the cold is coming whether we are ready or not. So we are here to give you some keeping warm tips.

Layer up. The more layers of clothing you have, the warmer you’ll be. Places like Academy and Sports Authority sell under layers that will keep the warm air in, and the cold out. The plus is that they are super thin, so they fit easily under your clothes, but still thick enough to keep you warm.

Pre heat your car. Nothing is more miserable than leaving your house and having to sit in your car for ten minutes waiting for your windshield to defrost and warm up. So about fifteen minutes before you know you are about to leave, turn on your car and turn the heat on full blast. This way when you go to leave, it will be nice and warm. (If you don’t have 2 sets of keys this may not be a good idea. You don’t want your car to get stolen!)

Stay inside. Try to stay in warm places out of the cold. But beware, with everyone inside germs spread fast. That is why so many people get sick during the winter time. So be sure to wash your hands and use good hygine.
