Event - FREE Community Outreach Seminar

The Furthering Community Unity Team and Shell Federal Credit Union will be hosting a Community Outreach Seminar for free to our members and community. There will be guest speakers from various volunteer organizations to help you learn about the different types of organizations there are and the things they do in our community. This will be a FREE seminar and all ages are welcome. The seminar will be held on April 10th at Shell Federal Credit Union in Deer Park (301 E 13th St Deer Park, TX 77536) from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. If you are a parent of a student, a student or a community member wanting to find a way give back; please join us for this fun and informational seminar. We look forward to seeing you there!

When: Saturday, February 4th Time: 11:00 - 2:00 Where: Pasadena Animal Shelter 5150 Burke Rd Pasadena, Tx 77504 Other Notes: Come join us in helping walk and bathe the animals at the Pasadena Animal Shelter. It will be a fun and interactive opportunity to connect with the four legged friends of our community who need just a bit of friendly petting and playing. **Ages 4 to 14 years must be accompanied by someone over the age of 18. You must wear jeans and closed toed shoes.**

New FCU Team Website

Need volunteer hours? Join our Furthering Community Unity (FCU) Team powered by Shell FCU. The FCU Team offers tons of volunteer opportunities around the community that anyone can come help out with. You even get a free shirt!

Volunteering is a great way to give back to your community and gives you a great sense of pride knowing you did something to help someone else out. The FCU Team participates in walks, Habitat for Humanity, food drives and much more.

You can check out any upcoming events that the FCU Team is participating in under the “Upcoming Events” tab at the top of the page. If you ever want to volunteer with us, join our team or submit your own volunteer event you can email: volunteer@shellfcu.org.

In 2009 the FCU Team donated over 1,270 volunteer hours and raised over $10,090 dollars, and because of this Shell FCU has decided to give the FCU Team its own website. Check it out at www.govolunteertoday.org.
