Tornado Relief

Just not too long ago many tornados swept all through the south destroying hundreds of houses and business as well as taking a couple lives. It is devastating to think that these people have lost everything they own and have to start over. As a way to help out, ‘One for Y’all’ was created to help collect donations and money to give to the families that were affected by this disaster.

Stay Safe Beach Goers

Spring Break is here and summer isn’t that far away. Typically people love spending their sunny days out on the beach enjoying the weather. But be warned beach goers – Do not go to Mexico.

Mexico is highly known for its gorgeous beaches and elaborate resorts. It is a popular destination for vacationers who want to lay out on the beach or go on a cruise. But it is also very dangerous. There have been numerous stories of American tourists being kidnapped and held for ransom.

Right now it is worse than ever. Cruise ships aren’t even docking at their ports because even the nice vacation spots in Mexico are too dangerous for people to even get off the ship.

So if you are planning a vacation to a pretty beach try to stay in America. Go to Florida or California, the water is just as pretty.

Red Fridays

Have you heard? Americans all across the country are going to start wearing the color red on Fridays in an effort to help support our troops. It has been sent out through facebook, twitter, myspace and all across the world wide web to help gather support for this cause.

This is the description on their facebook page:

“RED FRIDAYS ----- Very soon, you will see a great many people wearing red every Friday. The reason? Americans who support our troops used to be called the 'silent majority'. We are no longer silent, and are voicing our love for our country and home in record breaking numbers.

Our idea of showing solidarity and support for our troops with dignity and respect starts this Friday - and continues each and every Friday until the troops all come home, sending a deafening message that Every red-blooded American who supports our men and women afar will wear something red.

By word of mouth, press, TV -- let's make the United States on every Friday a sea of red much like a homecoming football game in the bleachers.

If every one of us who loves this country will share this with acquaintances, co-workers, friends, and family. It will not be long before the USA is covered in RED.

The first thing a soldier says when asked 'What can we do to make things better for you?' is.....We need your support and your prayers.

Let's get the word out and lead with class and dignity, by example.”
