The Furthering Community Unity Team and Shell Federal Credit Union will be hosting a Community Outreach Seminar for free to our members and community.
There will be guest speakers from various volunteer organizations to help you learn about the different types of organizations there are and the things they do in our community.
This will be a FREE seminar and all ages are welcome. The seminar will be held on April 10th at Shell Federal Credit Union in Deer Park (301 E 13th St Deer Park, TX 77536) from 6:00 to 7:30 PM.
If you are a parent of a student, a student or a community member wanting to find a way give back; please join us for this fun and informational seminar.

It will be a fun and interactive opportunity to connect with the four legged friends of our community who need just a bit of friendly petting and playing. **Ages 4 to 14 years must be accompanied by someone over the age of 18. There is a critical shortage of organs, tissues and eyes available for donation. There are more than 96,000 patients in the United States awaiting transplantation—more than 7,000 are Texans. Every 13 minutes, a new name is added to the national transplant waiting list. Every day, 17 people die waiting for a life-saving organ transplant.
Vital Volunteer Launches National Minority Donor Awareness with Book Signing
Happy Veterans Day! Today is a day to say thank you to all of the United States military service men and women as well as veterans. They risk their lives every day to keep us free, and although we should thank them every day, we like to give them special recognition on this day.
Donate4life is a non-profit organization established by the parents of Chad Jones, a young man who became in organ donor in June 2009. Since then, his family has become major supporters and champions for donation. The benefit will be used to promote donation across the state of Texas.
